I work as a Data Driven Growing Specialist (trainer) at LetsGrow.com. My first introduction to LetsGrow.com was when I met Winny (van Heijningen) at the HortiContact exhibition. In addition, I found out that my fellow student Evripidis (Papadopoulos) also works at LetsGrow.com. Besides friends, we are now colleagues.
I was born and raised in Indonesia and studied greenhouse horticulture at Wageningen University. I started my first professional job in horticulture at LetsGrow.com. I am a talkative person. I love networking with people. This is the reason I am the right person for this job and in my place as a trainer. I believe communication is an integral part to the success of any technical resource.

My job is to train clients (grower or manager) to become more data-driven in their cultivation approach and strategy. The best thing about my job is finding the areas of improvement in clients' current strategies. So many factors come into play, such as light, air, irrigation and so on. All these factors can interact. It is always like trying to solve a puzzle to find the best composition that works for my client.
In the morning, I start my day with Japan or China. Towards the end of the day, I work with North America or South America. If I have two meetings in two different time zones in one day, it can sometimes be quite overwhelming. But overall, it has been a really great journey of meeting and interacting with people all over the world.
I am really proud of my work when I have been able to create the most relevant training content for my clients. The key is to do my homework: when I am able to extract the most important detail that is relatable to clients. That guarantees the most success in the training process.

LetsGrow.com is a very close organisation. There is almost no hierarchy in the company. I can always walk in on my colleague and be at ease, whether it is work-related or non-work-related. Even when I look at our management, I am sometimes just surprised at how friendly everyone is.
Besides work, there are always informal activities. Be it with a large group or a smaller group. The company also offers outings such as sports and leisure activities.
