On October 1, Gabriël van der Kruijk took up his position as director of LetsGrow.com. With this appointment, LetsGrow.com is strengthening its leadership at a time when the international vegetable and ornamental plant sector is undergoing radical changes: economies of scale, consolidation in the sector, and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence.
In recent years, LetsGrow.com has invested heavily in its platform. In addition to bringing together data from various sources in dashboards, data is increasingly being translated into concrete insights that can be acted upon immediately. This enables predictable and scalable cultivation, partly even remotely. The next step is to move even further from observation to action.

Extensive experience with digitalization in greenhouse horticulture
Van der Kruijk has extensive experience with digitalization and artificial intelligence in international greenhouse horticulture. At Rijk Zwaan, he laid the foundation for digital services, and at Koppert, he shaped the Koppert One platform and the award-winning Digital Assistant. Always in close co-creation with growers worldwide. With his arrival, he returns to his roots: leading a tech company with a distinct entrepreneurial mindset.
