Administrator/Owner
The administrator or owner is the one holding rights on a device. The administrator/owner is the user which can grant others viewing rights to items.

How do I grant someone rights on my device?
Please request information on this from our helpdesk employees.
Are my data safe?
As the administrator/owner of the device, you state yourself who can and who cannot see them.
How do I arrange for others to be able to see my data?
You can choose viewing rights to items via the Administration option in the menu. This page allows you to precisely state which data can be viewed by other users. You can give rights to all other users to items on devices where you are the administrator. Please also see the explanation under "Share" for further information.
How can I share my graph with others?
With the option "Share" in the graph application, you can state which other users should be able to view this graph. If you share a graph which includes items from various devices, all administrators of these devices have to give viewing rights to the users of the graph. Please also see the explanation under "Share" for further information.
I cannot share with user Y?
You can only grant viewing rights to users who are in a user group of which you are a member. These user groups can be requested via the helpdesk.
How do I see if a definition is shared?
The icon then includes a hand instead of the usual icon for a graph.
How can I see who has access to my definitions?
In the preview for definitions in the menu, you can click on the "share" button. Then a list of users appears who can see the definitions.
Can others change my shared definitions?
Yes, everyone with access to a definition can change it.
I cannot add any lines?
You can only add lines to a graph if you have rights to view the related items. You may have rights if other users have granted rights to their items or if you are the administrator of a device.
I see gray definitions in the legend?
If gray definitions appear in the legend of a graph, and the relevant line is not visible in the graph, you don't have rights to that item. In this case, please contact the owner/administrator of the device and ask them for viewing rights to the required items.
I don't see any lines in the graph?
If there are lines missing from the graph, these are probably also grayed out as text in the legend. For a solution, please see the previous question.
